The primary purpose of the Quality Data Analyst is to provide quantitative measurement and data analysis expertise under the direction of the Manager Data Analytics. Responsible for implementing established, as well as developing and applying innovative techniques for measuring, analyzing, and reporting on healthcare processes, patient outcomes, and clinical cost effectiveness. Carries out data management responsibilities for clinical data that are needed to fulfill the organizational quality improvement plan and to meet regulatory requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, a health-related profession, Business Administration or a related field required. Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience which includes analytical and/or statistical responsibilities, with three (3) years in a healthcare environment. Experience in performing exploratory data analysis and database management a must. Expertise in MS Office required, and experience with statistical software applications preferred. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Additional related experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
