The primary purpose of the Clinical Pharmacist Specialist (Infectious Disease) position is to promote
the optimal use of anti-microbial agents throughout University Hospital to optimize patient outcomes by providing evidence-based direct
patient care as a member of interdisciplinary team or as an independent clinician.
Candidate must possess a Pharm. D. degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy. ASHP Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent is
preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed hospital pharmacist with enhanced clinical responsibilities is preferred.
Credential required: Pharm. D., Registered Pharmacist, licensed in the State of NJ

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires use of hands and fingers, talking and hearing over 2/3 of time, standing and walking up to 2/3 of

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Position requires exposures to toxic or caustic chemicals under 1/3 of the time. Moderate noise environment in
office setting
