The primary purpose of the Lead Technologist Radiology is to work with the Chief Technologist to coordinate schedules, and to help to supervise the daily operation of radiography services. Emphasis is on providing healthcare services by using medical imaging techniques and technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients; coordinating the allocation of technical staff on specific shifts; ensuring the verification and completion of exams, exercising professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor complementary of medical ethics.
The successful candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology and a registered technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, with a minimum of four years’ experience as a technologist. Excellent knowledge of radiography and, RIS and PACS is required. Prior experience as a lead technologist is required.
