Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in processing a biweekly payroll using a time and attendance system. Initiates and extracts data from Work Force Management and imports into ERP system using a job scheduling system (UC4) in order to calculate payroll. Runs edit reports using WFM and Argos Reporting Tools to assist in providing an accurate payroll. Checks manual data entry prior to payroll close for accuracy. Ensures completion of wage verifications, short-term disability and FMLA claims.
Bachelor’s Degree plus at least three (3) years of professional payroll experience required. Experience in a hospital or higher education organization with multiple collective bargaining agreements preferred. Experience with Banner HR/Payroll software preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows based Excel and Word is required. Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement.
