Responsible forthe overall physical condition,regulatory compliance and appearance of all assigned University Hospital facilities and real properties, in accordance with established service levels and occupant needs. Ensures efficient and effective management of physical resources, materials and equipment in the course of maintaining assigned facilities. Monitors and/or coordinates the efforts of Physical Plant Units providing equipment maintenance, cleaning, and construction/renovation and/or systems installation/repair, to assigned area.
High School or Technical School Diploma or equivalent required. Certification or licensure as a Facility Manager by BOMA, IFMA and/or New Jersey Department of Education is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in facility maintenance of which includes experience in a lead capacity. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems & Construction, Microsoft Office Suite. A valid driver’s license. The Supervisor Maintenance & Construction position has been deemed “Essential”, requiring the staff member to be onāsite when needed.
