Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Coordinator Community Training Center is to provide operational direction to and assure the efficient operation of the University Hospital Community Training Center and the Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response. Key tasks include the scheduling of educational programs and coordinating the training spaces and instructors needed to deliver that training, including the development of exercises designed to evaluate the effectiveness of training; additionally, this position is responsible for the record keeping and administrative focus of the department.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree required. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor, NAEMT Instructor within six (6) months of hire, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP), and Driver’s license with NJ driving privileges. Two (2) years supervisory experience required. Applicants lacking the degree may substitute additional instructor experience beyond the requirement on a year-for-year basis. Strong computer skills required.
