Course Instructor (BLS) Per Diem

The primary purpose of the Course Instructor (BLS) position is to teach BLS provider and First Responder courses offered by the University Hospital Community Training Center, and to facilitate learning in the classroom. Works in conjunction with the BLS and ACLS/PALS coordinators and staff to ensure quality BLS and First Responder courses.

BLS Instructor certification required, plus three (3) years’ of experience teaching BLS courses required. NJ EMT, EMD, or MICP certification preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Must be available evenings and weekends when BLS courses are offered.
