Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Bistro Cook position is to prepare and serve all food from the grill, pizza, salad, and fry areas of the Bistro. May also be required to prepare food items for future concepts and catering services as deemed necessary by the unit management. The duties of this position also include the performance of the food service worker function on a daily basis. 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED certificate preferred. Three (3) years of experience in the preparation of foods from a grill in a high-volume setting required. National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation for ServSafe Protection Certification is required or must obtain ServSafe Protection Certificate within first 6 to 12 months of employment and maintain throughout employment. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Ability to read and understand recipes including culinary math. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and deadlines.
