About the Role

The primary purpose of the Audiology Technician position is to provide newborn screening and follow-up services including but not limited to hearing screening and patient data management activities under the direction of the Lead Clinical/Senior Clinical Audiologist.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do  

  • Works collaboratively with faculty and staff to maintain a timely and organized flow of patients and visitors throughout their experience in Ambulatory Care Services and with University Hospital.
  • Performs newborn hearing screening (in-patient)
  • Performs out-patient hearing re-screenings and follow-up.
  • Performs data collection and data entry.
  • Maintains safe and clean environment; provides for the patient’s comfort and safety.
  • Provides general office assistance including answering the telephone, scheduling patients, completing reports, gathering statistical data, using the electronic medical records system, filing, copying, and other duties as assigned.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is XH/99H: $ 55.00 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
