About the Role

The main responsibility of the Staff Nurse is to deliver hands-on patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including performing nursing procedures and assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. Performance is assessed by the Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager and through patient and family feedback, unless otherwise specified.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Provides direct, hands-on nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab

  • Performs nursing procedures for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures

  • Assesses patient conditions and develops individualized care plans

  • Implements and evaluates nursing care based on patient needs and responses to treatment

  • Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

  • Performance is evaluated by the Nurse Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager, as well as through patient and family feedback, unless otherwise noted

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

Required:

 

    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in:

      • Special procedures

      • Radiology

      • Cardiac Catheterization Lab
        OR

      • Two (2) years of recent critical care experience

    • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

    • Demonstrates competency in all procedures within the nursing scope of practice

    • Provides appropriate care for patients ranging from late adolescence to end of life

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

The expected salary range for this position is [$ $44.66 - $60.73] per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
