The primary purpose of the Lead Medical Records Clerk (Scanning &Indexing) position is to coordinate and ensure efficient completion of all activities involved with the scanning and indexing of medical records into Sovera.
High school graduate or GED equivalent required. Three (3) years of clerical experience required. Prior experience working in an acute care hospital medical record department preferred. Prior experience in a leadership position preferred. Must be able to communicate in English and have good oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform job function and make decisions without direct supervision. Strong computer skills preferred. Must have a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Must be proficient in the use of email. Must be detail oriented, display a high level of accuracy, and be organized. May be required to work evenings and weekends.
