The primary purpose of the Assistant Manager Business Services is to provide administrative support to the Executive Director Facilities, Maintenance & Construction. This position has administrative responsibility for office management, including, but not limited to, fiscal matters, purchasing, coordination of reports, management of staff, etc. Manages the performance and general operation of hospital Operator Services department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Administration, Healthcare, or a related field required. Three (3) years of progressively more responsible professional administrative support experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment or large business office. Experience should include budget, procurement and purchasing responsibilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize activities is a must. One (1) year of supervisory experience required. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required. Additional related professional experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires standing 2/3 of the time, walking to 2/3 of the time, requires sitting over 1/3 of the time, use of hands to finger, handle, or feel over 2/3 of the time, each with hands and arms 1/3 of the time, talk or hear over 2/3 of the time. Position requires lifting up to 10 lbs. up to 1/3 of the time. There are no special vision requirements.
