Under the direction of the department of clinical research, transforms complex research data into clear, precise, and accessible content. This role is instrumental in bridging the gap between scientific discovery and public understanding through manuscripts for peer review journals, creating content for scientific conferences, or developing educational materials. Additionally, the scientific writer must possess a strong understanding of scientific methods, research protocols, and data interpretation.
Masters or Doctoral degree in a scientific discipline. 3-5 years of experience in scientific writing and editing. Familiarity with the peer review process. Strong understanding of research methodologies, data analysis, and interpretation. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into layman’s terms. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent research and analytical abilities. Proficiency in reference management software and Microsoft Office, including Word, spreadsheets, and database applications
(e.g., SPSS). Equivalent experience, education, and/or training may be considered in place of formal education requirements.
