Overview

About the Role

The primary purpose of the Inventory Control Technician position is to check supplies and reconcile orders. Produces analysis lists and reports of inventory items. Performs expiration checks and recalls.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do  

  • Monitors that supplies are being charged out before leaving warehouse.
  • Creates product labels for General Stores & Peri-op warehouse, nursing units and ancillary areas.
  • Scans and attaches packing slips to POs in Sciquest.
  • Maintains and updates par lists according to findings identified by supervisors and managers.
  • Creates a list of needed products for General Stores and Peri-op warehouse replenishment.
  • Responsible for producing ad-hoc reports and other inventory analysis as needed.
  • Conducts periodic inventory performance reports (e.g. turnover and cycle counts) and distributes them to management.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Two (2) years materials management experience, preferably in materials management in acute care hospital.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment preferred.
  • Experience in computer systems and/or purchasing highly desirable.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is TT/1700 - $23.29 –  $23.80- $24.51 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
