Overview

About the Role

The primary purpose of the Rehabilitation Aide position is to provide the supportive services to the clinical staff and department. Rehabilitation Aide will assist the clinician with patient care as per clinician’s direction and supervision; maintain/prepare the departmental supplies and equipment, perform all designated tasks related to daily operation.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do  

  • Assists the clinician in carrying out therapeutic activities as per clinician’s specified directions and visual supervision.
  • Assists the clinician with the preparation of patients and the set-up of modalities for treatment.
  • Assists in monitoring patient’s therapeutic activities/exercises while under the direct supervision of the clinician.
  • Maintain established par level of all supplies and order when necessary.
  • Displays an open communication and effective working relationships with patient/family, colleagues, customers, and superiors.
  • Assists with clerical and departmental activities as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • A High School graduate or GED equivalent is required. Competent in verbal and written English. Previous hospital/clinic experience a plus. Must be competent in computer applications as needed to complete the job duties and/or required by the department.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is TS/1400 $ 19.07 $ 19.57 - $ 20.16 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
