The primary purpose of the Data Base Analyst position is to maintain existing information with the Perioperative Services systems. Conducts primary server management, interface server management and integration into network
operation to accommodate future growth. Collects programmatic data, data entry, modifies existing applications in accordance with end user requirements. Monitors quality standards and integration into the network operation to accommodate future growth. Formulates
statistical reports into various formats and translates data for management decisions related to productivity, volume, and staffing requirements. Utilizes benchmark data to compare trends and growth.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business administration or a related field is required plus three (3) years of experience with data processing and data base application and design. Excellent working knowledge of the following Microsoft programs: Visio, PowerPoint,
Excel, and Access. Relevant experience with personal computers, database applications, medical terminology and technology may be substituted for the Bachelor’s Degree on a year-for-year basis.
