About the Role: 

 

The primary purpose of the Operations Manager position is to coordinate Environmental Services operations at University Hospital. Assists in the development of supervisory and non-supervisory environmental services staff for the
purpose of providing service excellence. Assists in the development, implementation, and monitoring of systems relative to QA, budget control, new processes, inventory, and equipment. Assists the Director Environmental Services with all related activities.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, plus five (5) years minimum experience in Hospital Environmental Services Management. Demonstrated knowledge is necessary of how to accomplish superior performance in a union environment. Knowledge of review, analysis and evaluation of budgets, as well as organization and administrative practices required. Outstanding human relations and leadership skills, and the ability to function in a team environment required. Equivalent education, experience and/or training which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential duties of the position may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Compensation

In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is $79,317.00 – $118,976.00 per year.
 
University Hospital considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant work experience, education and training, key skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational needs.
