About the Role

 

The primary purpose of the Uniform & Apparel Services Associate position is to order, receive,

distribute, track, retrieve, recover, and submit charges for uniforms and apparel for designated departments.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Prepares orders and arranges for delivery of uniforms to designated departments in a timely manner.
  • Enters data, records transactions and maintains up-to-date accurate information in automated system in computer.
  • Confers with salesperson/drivers in conjunction with Manager or designee to resolve complaints about rendered services, and modify any orders according to size, color, and accurate distribution and delivery of approved request by uniform services personnel.
  • Coordinates collection of outgoing apparel for pick-up by salesperson/drivers on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Prepares annual reports of names, usage, distribution, recovery, and loss for review by Manager.
  • Ensures that uniform room(s) and all inventory are maintained in a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition for quality control and quality assurance requirements.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) year of administrative support experience preferably in a hospital environment required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in English to successfully accomplish the essential duties of the position, knowledge of PC software programs particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Fluency in speaking and understanding Spanish is desirable.

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $19.07 - $20.16.
