About the Role

Provides administrative and general office support for the Human Resources Talent Partners and department management with an emphasis on the recruiting, employment, and onboarding processes. Assists in other areas of Human Resources as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Acts as a receptionist and point of contact for the HR department, greeting internal and external customers, and assisting or referring them as appropriate.
  • Answers phone calls to the Human Resources department’s employment number, providing information as requested, and directing callers to the appropriate person for assistance, as needed.
  • Assists with data entry of job postings to the University Hospital Online Career Site, utilizing iCIMS platform. Under the direction of the Manager of Talent Acquisition, launches and closes positions in a timely manner.
  • Meets with applicants, reviews their paperwork, obtains, and verifies appropriate documents and copies documents for the Human Resources file.
  • Enrolls new employees for upcoming orientations using the New Hire Orientation Management System. Prepares and Coordinates the distribution of new hire orientation schedules.
  • Createsletters, documents, recruitment, and informational material and assists with departmental e‐mail blasts.
  • Assists HR Talent Partners and Manager of Talent Acquisition with HR related administrative tasks, spreadsheet preparation and tracking of various data for the department.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • Three (3) years of experience in an administrative or paraprofessional clerical support position, preferably within a Human Resources or customer service function required.
  • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in HR Administration or a related field will be considered if they also have relevant work experience or an internship in HR or a related area.
  • Ability to project a positive, knowledgeable, and helpful image to customers is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using the computer as a resource tool to assist applicants and employment staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications is required. Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience preferred.

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is $25.33- $34.60.
