About the Role

The Cardiovascular Technician plays a key role in delivering hands-on patient care, assisting with Cath Lab procedures by serving as a scrub technician, monitoring hemodynamic and physiological data, and helping prepare the procedure room, including setting up the table and equipment. All tasks are performed under the guidance and supervision of a Physician and Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab setting
  • Serve as a scrub technician during catheterization procedures
  • Monitor and record hemodynamic and physiological data during procedures
  • Assist with preparing the procedure room prior to cases
  • Set up the procedure table and necessary equipment
  • Work under the supervision of a Physician and Registered Nurse

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent
  • Alternatively, successful completion of the Cardiovascular Technologist Internship within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
  • Experience must include:
    • Cardiac hemodynamic and physiological monitoring
    • First-line sterile assistance during diagnostic and/or interventional procedures
  • CVT or RCVT certification is highly desirable
  • Current BLS (CPR) certification is required

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

The expected hourly range for this position is TT/2550: Probationary Rate$37.55 - Job Rate $38.05- Two (2) Year Rate $39.19 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
