About the Role

The Program Support Coordinator ensures the effective delivery of cancer-related and preventive health services through the mobile health program, working both in the community and in the office. Coordinates operational logistics, and administrative functions that contribute to patient-centered care in community health outreach. Responsibilities include assisting with reducing barriers to care, facilitating referrals and medical record flow, providing guidance to frontline staff on daily activities, monitoring billing accuracy, managing supplies, and supporting accreditation compliance. Serves as a vital bridge between patients,
providers, staff, and community partners, ensuring timely access to services, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Supports the delivery of cancer-related and preventive health services via the mobile health program.
  • Operates in both community settings and office environments to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Coordinates logistics and administrative tasks to promote patient-centered care in outreach efforts.
  • Helps reduce barriers to care by facilitating referrals and managing medical record transfers.
  • Provides daily guidance and support to frontline staff.
  • Monitors billing processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversees inventory and supply management for mobile health operations.
  • Assists with maintaining compliance for accreditation standards.
  • Acts as a key liaison between patients, healthcare providers, staff, and community partners.
  • Ensures timely access to services, promotes quality outcomes, and supports operational efficiency.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field required.
  • Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience should include healthcare coordination, medical office operations, or program administration.
  • Prior leadership experience with patient services or front-desk responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of billing and insurance processes preferred.
  • Experience with oncology coordination, outpatient care, or community health programs is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging patients, staff, and community partners.

  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing environments, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) highly desirable.

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

The expected salary range for this position is $74,989 - $90,407 - $107,705 per year in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
