About the Role

The primary purpose of the Receptionist/Patient Scheduler position is to act as a receptionist and scheduler for the Breast Imaging Center in the Oncology Department including scheduling, confirming, maintaining, and monitoring patient appointments, receptionist activities and other general duties.

 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary receptionist for the Breast Imaging Center within the Oncology Department.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and monitor the appointment calendar to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform general receptionist duties, including greeting patients and handling inquiries.
  • Support additional administrative tasks as needed to assist the department.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year clerical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English effectively to perform job duties.
  • Bilingual ability is preferred.

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

The expected hourly range for this position is $20.37 - $20.87 - $21.49  per hour in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
