About the Role

Under the supervision of the Manager of Population Health the incumbent will recruit, orient and train HVIP clinicalstaff and front line staff to provide assertive outreach, clinical case management, and trauma‐informed, evidence‐based case management and psychotherapy services to acute survivors of violent crime. The Program Coordinator will also develop policies and procedures to direct clinical practice, monitor patient flow, and develop/maintain community partnerships. The Program Coordinator will carry a caseload of individual patients and may facilitate group treatment as well.

What You’ll Do

  • Works under the guidance of the Manager of Population Health.
  • Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and training clinical and front-line staff for the HVIP program.
  • Ensures staff are equipped to deliver assertive outreach, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based case management and psychotherapy to victims of violent crime.
  • Develops and implements clinical policies and procedures to guide service delivery.
  • Oversees patient flow and coordinates with community partners to support program goals.
  • Maintains a personal caseload of patients and may lead group therapy sessions.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from a New Jersey-accredited professional school.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with trauma survivors from underserved communities.
  • Licensure: Must hold one of the following New Jersey state licenses:
    • Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Clinical Skills:
    • Strong documentation and clinical abilities.
    • Skilled in prioritizing tasks and working independently.
    • Effective under pressure and able to meet deadlines.
  • Service Delivery:
    • Capable of integrating assertive outreach, clinical case management, and trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health care.
  • Approach:
    • Demonstrates cultural humility.
    • Adheres to a strengths-based, recovery-oriented philosophy.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Strong interpersonal communication abilities.

      Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

      The expected salary range for this position is $76,569.00 - $94,038.00 - $111,506.00 per year, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
