Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Under the direction of the Director of HR Operations, the Coordinator HR Operations is responsible for providing technical assistance and guidance to the Human Resources Department and other University areas and serves as a liaison to campus Human Resources offices regarding technology and computer issues.

  • Responsible for extracting, collecting, evaluating, and analyzing data to provide the HR management team and University units/departments with information to support strategic objectives while ensuring the integrity of the data.
  • Provides personal computer support functions including but not limited to MS Office, Email, printers, network storage, systems access and coordinating support tickets with central IT for all HR Team members.
  • Maintains the Director of HR Operations calendar and assists the department with organizing meetings, booking conference rooms, arrangements of conferences, travel etc. Ensures maintenance of record keeping, filing and retrieval systems for the office.
  • Attends assigned meetings, accurately record minutes, and compile and distribute the minutes appropriately.
  • Independently handles projects as assigned and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and follow‐through to ensure project completion.
  • Oversees the accuracy and efficiency of the new hire onboarding process by partnering with the Talent Acquisition department under the direction of Director of HR Operations.
  • Collaborates with the Human Resources team & Ellucian System to create, evaluate and analyze data reports related to employees and applicants’ data in iCIMS and Ellucian Banner System.
  • Develops and maintains the HR Internal Website, HR content available under UH Portal, and other HR online tools.
  • Evaluates HR Metrics data visualizations that provide meaningful insight into data for fast decision making.
  • Serves as an internal consultant to HR Team members on issues related to the HR Website, Ellucian Banner, iCIMS ATS, system capabilities as well as proficiency training.
  • Partners with internal HR departments to compile department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Responsible for aligning efforts with HR Operations & Payroll, IST, Ellucian and external resources to ensure a coordinated effort of departmental and Hospital initiatives.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in Human Resources, HRIS or Information Systems analysis and design experience, preferably in unionized environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with using Microsoft office, proficiency in Excel, Argos, and other reporting tools to create and generate reports. Experience with Ellucian Banner and iCIMS ATS is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent analytical, problem solving, oral and written communication skills.
  • Equivalent education, experience, and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.

Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law)

In compliance with New Jersey’s Pay Transparency Act, the salary rate for this position is $74,187- $103,077.
