Under direction, assists with the handling of campus-wide transactions to procure equipment, services and supplies needed for the efficient operation of the University Hospital.
Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field, plus one (1) year buying experience, preferably in the area of public procurement. Experience in hospital and research-related purchasing is a plus. Computer literacy is required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and computerized purchasing applications is preferred. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement.
