About the Role
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for delivering pre-hospital Basic Life Support (BLS) to patients of all ages and backgrounds in all weather conditions. Working under the supervision of an EMS Supervisor and alongside other EMS personnel, the EMT assesses, treats, lifts, and transports patients using appropriate equipment and techniques. The role includes completing required documentation, supporting efficient EMS operations, and representing University Hospital and EMS with professionalism and integrity.
About the Role
The Paramedic is responsible for delivering and directing both Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS and ALS) care in the pre-hospital setting, in collaboration with EMS team members and under the guidance of a licensed Medical Control Physician (MCP) and EMS Supervisor. This role involves responding to patients of all ages and backgrounds in any weather conditions, using appropriate techniques and equipment to assess, treat, lift, and safely transport patients to a suitable medical facility.
