About the Role
The primary purpose of the Section Head, Pathology Chemistry position is to provide technical leadership, supervision, and administrative oversight of the assigned unit under the direction of the Chief Technologist/Director. This role is responsible for ensuring quality standards, guiding staff in daily operations, and assisting in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and operating guidelines to support efficient and compliant laboratory practices.

This role is responsible for ensuring procedural and system controls, troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as contributing to teaching and supervision under the direction of leadership. Technologists provide physicians with timely, accurate, and reliable results that are essential for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
