he primary purpose of the Director of Performance Improvement/Quality position is to function as a change agent of The University Hospital Management Team by teaching and directing the management and unit staff the application of Performance Improvement/Continuous Quality Improvement Process to advance patient care and safety. This role is responsible for
the documentation of each unit/service area and Department yearly plan, its execution and the staff’s ability to articulate and implement improvements.
