Under the direction of Manager/Supervisor(s), provides transportation service for patients from neonates to geriatrics and patient related materials. These materials may include, but are not limited to specimens, oxygen tanks, package, slips, supplies, medication orders, labs, etc. May utilize various such as equipment pagers, locks, etc. Performs preventive maintenance on all transport equipment as required.
The primary purpose of the Supervisor Distribution position is to assist in planning, organizing, and supervising the day-to-day operations of General Store/Peri-op Warehouse and/or Shipping & Receiving Mail.
Supervises and coordinates the activities of the assigned area along with staff involved in receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and distributing a wide variety of mail and medical supplies.
Develops and manages complex projects. Oversees the planning, development, implementation
and support of hospital information systems. Supervises analyst/project staff. Develops testing strategies according to system build and
downstream system requirements. Oversees and assists the hospital with the development of a training plan. Ensures that systems are
implemented and functioning under the guidance of acceptable University policies and procedures and meet all regulatory requirements

Aligns quality and performance improvement program with the hospital quality program, including transparency, reporting, and communication between staff and hospital executive and Board leadership.
